CHANNING HUSER
This work is very gentle and deeply relaxing, facilitating change in your body from within. Differing from other biomechanicaly oriented bodywork where manipulation is applied into a persons body from the outside in, the Biodynamic craniosacral approach supports your bodies natural ability to heal itself.
During a session you lie comfortably dressed on a massage table while the practitioner gently holds various places around your body, primarily your cranium and sacrum. The primary intention of the practitioner during the session is to witness and support the health in your body, the natural order and rhythm in your tissues, facilitating a re-organizing and release of tension patterns caught and held in your body. Sensations can range from subtle to profound depending upon what your system as a whole chooses it can safely re-organize while still maintaining its own inner balance.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy has its roots in Osteopathy and within the inherent organizing and healing intelligence within our bodies. Throughout the twentieth century Dr. A.T. Still, Dr. William Sutherland, Dr. Rollin Becker, Dr. James Jealous, Franklyn Sills and many others have contributed to our understanding of facilitating the natural biodynamic laws that govern our health.
